I have started adding the tree to WikiTree here. And I have used it to move back a few generations on my direct ancestor line.
WikiTree is where genealogists collaborate. It aims to grow a singe family tree. Currently it includes 25,580,061 profiles (7,254,885 with DNA test connections) edited by 766,787 genealogists from around the world and is protected so that it will never be lost.
