Do you recognise these ladies?

Two unknown ladies, Dover, Kent, England circa 1917-1920.

Can you identify the people in this photograph?

It has a photographer’s studio embossed on it, revealing that it was taken in Dover, Kent, England, between 1917 and 1920.

It was found in a family house clearance, and it may have belonged to Alice West, born 24 Feb 1873 at Dover to William West and Louisa Hannah Ballard. Alice married Thomas William Hanson in Charlton by Dover on 15 Apr 1893 at Ss Peter & Paul. So possibly Ballard or West ladies in the photograph.
